Having several years of experience, Muhidin Shifa is one of the leading financial sector professionals within the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) and currently responsible for Financial Consumer Protection and Capability efforts of the NBE, with an objective to improve consumer empowerment and access to conventional and digital financial services for individuals and MSMEs. He has received his master’s degree in finance and accounting from Addis Ababa University. He has led and engaged in various financial inclusions, insurance, AML/CFT, financial literacy and consumer protection related policy reforms and published a series of articles indifferent magazines in Ethiopia
