Reginald Tumusiime

Reginald Tumusiime is the CEO & Founder of CapitalSavvy, a Kampala-based, technology-driven investment management and advisory firm with international partnerships across Africa and Europe. He began his career in 2012 at Standard Chartered Bank through its international graduate program, later leading a pioneering online banking initiative in Nairobi and becoming the youngest Africa Regional Resource, overseeing Big Data analytics for SME Banking across eight African markets.

In 2019, he founded CapitalSavvy to accelerate SME growth in Sub-Saharan Africa, launching an SME Growth Fund backed by international investors, which has since evolved into a blockchain-powered neobank. He is also Co-CEO of Africoin, a company leading tokenization initiatives across key African markets.

Elected President of the Blockchain Association of Uganda in 2024, Reginald has spoken at leading global conferences, including the 2025 Finance Summit organized by Clifford Chance and the London Blockchain Conference (October 2025). He is an Aspen Africa-UK Catalyst Fellow (2025) and will join the Africa Leadership Initiative – East Africa in 2026.
