Simon is the CEO and co-founder of DirectEd Development. DirectEd provides laptops, world-class education and apprenticeships to top talent in Africa, preparing them for remote work in tech and entrepreneurship. Their innovative Talent program-model is drawing inspiration from the agency model from the creative industries, meaning that they do not need to charge any tuition up front and instead rely on outcomes-based tuition.
Simon holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, is a World Bank S4YE youth advisory group member and is part of the Oxford Blockchain Society leadership.
