Somya Singh

Somya Singh is a fintech practitioner specialising in digital public infrastructure (DPI), financial inclusion, and digital credit ecosystems. She currently serves as a Senior Advisor, supporting the National Bank of Rwanda, Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR), and the Ministry of ICT and Innovation on the development of digital infrastructure to expand access to agricultural credit.

Previously, she played a key role in setting up and building the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub in India, where she conceptualised and implemented DPI frameworks for credit access and worked across India’s broader digital infrastructure ecosystem to enable innovation in KYC, lending, and financial services. Her work focuses on translating DPI policy into practical systems that expand access to finance for underserved communities.
