DPI in action: unlocking agriculture, credit and cross border trade through interoperable systems

Interoperability sounds technical, but at its core it is simple. Can systems talk to each other in a way that creates value?

This session explores why shared standards, APIs, and trusted data exchange are essential if fintechs are to integrate services and scale across markets. Too often, innovation stalls because systems are fragmented or incentives are misaligned. Speakers will unpack the real barriers, technical, regulatory, and institutional, and share lessons from markets that have made progress.

Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of what it takes to build connected platforms that reduce duplication, shorten product development cycles, and make it easier for fintechs to serve users seamlessly.
