Inclusion, Local Talent and Mobility: Expanding Access to Opportunity Across Africa

As Africa’s digital economy grows, expanding access to opportunity requires intentional approaches to inclusion, local talent development, and mobility. Drawing perspectives from academia, policy, digital inclusion, and development finance, the discussion will focus on equity-driven talent development with particular attention to women in tech. Panellists will examine regional mobility and talent exchange programs, success metrics for inclusion, and scalable support ecosystems such as mentorship, coaching, and sponsorship. The session will highlight practical strategies to strengthen local talent, expand access to opportunity, and enable sustainable career growth across Africa’s digital economy.
