Pauline Okumu

Pauline Okumu is the National Director for World Vision Rwanda. She is a seasoned humanitarian and development practitioner, with over twenty-five (25) years of experience in leadership, program planning and management, financial management resource mobilization, operations management, donor and stakeholder engagement, and compliance.
Globally, she worked as Senior Director of Water Sanitation and Hygiene for World Vision International, National Director of World Vision Rwanda, Lesotho, and Swaziland as well as Deputy National Director for World Vision Kenya, and acting National Director for World Vision South Africa. As such, she has extensive knowledge and experience in humanitarian operations, communication, and advocacy work.
Pauline’s mission is to support high-quality impact in the humanitarian and development sector, especially for the most vulnerable children in society.
Pauline holds an MA in Organizational Leadership from the University in Eastern USA, a Master’s in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Nairobi, and a BSc in Home Economics (Food and Nutrition with Education) from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton
