Ecosystem Builders & Capital Connectors Dialogue: Financing Africa’s Growth from Within

Africa’s fintech and innovation ecosystem has matured significantly over the past decade. National and regional fintech associations, pan-African platforms, and capital market intermediaries now play a central role in shaping market structure, regulatory dialogue, and investor perception.

Yet despite this maturation, capital deployment into African ventures remains uneven, particularly in frontier and emerging markets.

This roundtable recognises that ecosystem actors themselves are now a critical layer of financial infrastructure. Their ability to coordinate, standardise, and advocate coherently will determine whether the capital flows accelerator continues to stall.
