Tatenda Furusa

Tatenda is a Co-founder and CEO of Imali.Click, a fast growing VC backed (raised $3m so far) Embedded Finance and Insurance platform formed in 2020 to provide financial services infrastructure for Africa's growing economies. As a 3rd time founder, Tatenda has a deep understanding of the fintech landscape in Africa, having previously worked as Chief of Staff to the Co-founder and CEO of Cellulant, a leading digital payments company operating across 18 African countries. Based in Nairobi, Kenya; Tatenda is responsible for leading the company's strategy, investor relations, innovation and go-to-market strategy. He is also a passionate advocate for the use of technology to empower African entrepreneurs and businesses. Tatenda is a prestigious Chevening Scholar and holds a Master's degree in Business and Management from University of Nottingham. He also holds a B.A International Business, from Bradley University in Peoria, IL and now serves as the External Advisory Board of the Global Studies Program. Tatenda 's ambition is to build Imali.Click into a leading provider of embedded financial services in Africa. He believes that Fintech and API technology has the potential to transform the way financial services are delivered to African consumers and businesses, and he is committed to making this a reality.
