Gituku Kirika is a seasoned payments executive with over 20 years of experience. As CEO of Integrated Payment Services Limited (IPSL), he is driving the growth of Pesalink, Kenya's interoperable payment network. Since joining IPSL in 2021, he has overseen a 35% increase in payment volumes and expanded the network to over 70 institutions.
Previously, Gituku was Director of Digital Payments & Labs for Mastercard in Sub-Saharan Africa, where he launched innovative solutions to millions of new users. He also held product and digital leadership roles at Standard Chartered Bank and Diamond Trust Bank, pioneering prepaid card products
