Wendy Quarshie

Wendy Quarshie is the Co-Founder and CEO of Chempe, an award-winning tech startup recognized at the Bank of Ghana 3i Summit Pitchfest. She is also a Co-Founder of GirlsToCode, an initiative dedicated to mentoring and encouraging women in technology, which has succesfully raised over 100 girls who are actively working as software engineers across various companies . Wendy currently works as a CTO at Backslash Technologies Ltd. She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Business Technology from IE University and a Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science & Computer Science from the University of Ghana, where she was President of the Computer Science Student's Association. Wendy is passionate about driving technological innovation and supporting diversity in tech across Africa.
