Bobson Rugambwa is the founder and CEO of MVend, a Rwanda-based digital wallet and payments platform serving unbanked and underbanked communities across East Africa. With over 13 years of experience in fintech product development and infrastructure, he has led Gwiza’s growth (MVend’s flagship product) as a BNR-regulated platform built for scale, compliance, and last-mile access. Bobson holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University. His work sits at the crossroads of payments technology, financial regulation, and inclusive design.
