Erick Kiarie

Erick Kiarie is the Head of Information Security at Pesalink, Kenya’s instant and interoperable payments network operated by IPSL. In his role, he shapes and executes cybersecurity strategy for real-time payment rails, embedding security best practices into how the platform is built and operated, and supporting regulatory and privacy alignment. He also works on integrating real-time transaction monitoring controls -fraud prevention, sanctions screening and AML checks - directly into payment processing to strengthen trust while minimizing friction in instant payments.
