Hina Hameed

Hina Hameed is a digital payments and financial market infrastructure professional with over a decade of experience at the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). She currently serves as Deputy Director at Raast Payments Pakistan (RPP), where she contributes to the operational oversight and ecosystem development of Raast, Pakistan’s national instant payment system.

She has led and contributed to national payment system initiatives spanning instant payment operations, interoperability frameworks, regulatory enablement, and ecosystem integration. Her experience bridges policy development and live system oversight, with a focus on maintaining stability in high-volume environments, strengthening cross-sector coordination, and supporting participants operating in real-time clearing and settlement systems.

Hina actively engages in international policy and technical exchanges on digital financial infrastructure and continues to deepen her expertise in the design and oversight of modern, inclusive, and resilient payment systems.
