Nyi Aye

Nyi Nyein Aye is the CEO and co-founder of ThitsaWorks, a fintech company building interoperable payment and credit solutions for financial institutions serving underserved populations. With over 29 years of experience in public administration, finance, software development, and financial inclusion, including more than 20 years at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, he now leads multiple Mojaloop-based Inclusive Instant Payment System initiatives across Africa, including in Liberia, Togo, Cabo Verde, and Guinea. Nyi is a member of the Mojaloop Technical Governance Board and holds degrees from Columbia University and the City University of New York.
