Sarah is a seasoned telecommunications and technology professional with over 15 years of experience in the ICT and IT sectors. She is the Managing Director of Techminds Technologies Limited, a leading ICT services firm.
She previously served as Senior Manager, Enterprise Segments at Safaricom PLC, where she played a key role in developing enterprise solutions and leading major strategic projects. Earlier in her career, Sarah was the Innovations Leader at Copycat Group, driving initiatives in idea generation, business process transformation using ITIL methodologies, Salesforce.com implementation, and new product development, including go-to-market and pricing strategies. She also applied best practices from the ETOM framework in creating operating models and managing large-scale projects.
Passionate about women’s empowerment, Sarah serves on the leadership team of the Women’s Mentorship Network, supporting capacity building for women-owned businesses. She has been recognized as Women in STEM Award (Women On Boards Network Award) 2023 and recognized as IEEE Woman Engineer of year in 2008.
Sarah holds a Master of Philosophy in Technology Policy from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. She also received a First Class Honors in Computer Science from Nairobi University where she graduated as the Top Student. She has also completed executive education programs at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, including the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme. Sarah is also a council Member for Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology
