Eunice is a dynamic leader shaping the future of digital financial services across Africa. She is now with I&M Bank leading the Group Digital Business in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda & Mauritius, driving strategy, partnerships, multichannel solutions, data analytics and data governance, all aimed at delivery of cutting-edge digital innovation.
Her work blends digital banking, new business development, product innovation, strategic partnerships, digital CX excellence, data driven decisioning, to deliver inclusive and transformative solutions.
Passionate about financial inclusion and digital adoption at scale. Eunice has led various teams through the course of her career to deliver, commercialize and scale strategic, first to market products across the different industries. From the simplicity of Mobile & Internet Banking and other digital payment solutions at CBA Bank (Now NCBA) while this was a new area for the banking sector. She was product lead for the well-known FULIZA M-PESA at Safaricom which saw phenomenal results in just a few weeks and continues to bag both local and international awards and recognition. More recently while in Fintech as Director Business Operations for Africa Eunice was part of the team that delivered a product dubbed Kamilisha in Tanzania, a collaboration similar to FULIZA in Kenya, between I&M Bank TZ Ltd, Airtel Tanzania & Comviva-Yabx. At I&M she has continued to provide leadership in digital transformation, with some key achievement in 2025 being; 80% of all New-to-Bank customers onboarding digitally, 5X growth in transactions, launch and scale of the short term digital loans now contributing a third of retail loan disbursements, among others.
Eunice holds a Bsc. in Information Technology from USIU-A, as well as a Micro Masters in Digital Product Management from Boston University. She is currently pursuing an MBA from Liverpool John Moore University, UK.
She is an avid reader, a swimmer, an outdoor enthusiast, has run a couple of half-marathons locally and across the continent, loves to hike and has summitted Mt. Kenya among many other local hiking destinations.
