Mr Mikhail Velichko

Mikhail Velichko is the CEO at AccèsBanque Madagascar (ABM) and a former President of Madagascar’s Professional Banking Association. He is also a Co-Chair for the African Chapter of the Global SME Finance Forum and a Member of the UnionPay Africa Regional Council.
He possesses over 20 years of experience in Retail Banking, Microfinance, and Investments. Before joining ABM, he worked for the Swiss investment advisory firm, the US microfinance network, and leading commercial banks in ECA Region. He worked in Ukraine, Switzerland, Madagascar, Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi, DR Congo, Uganda, and Nigeria during his career. Mr. Velichko holds a master’s degree in Banking and speaks English, French, Russian, and Ukrainian.
