Professor Ogechi Adeola is Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation & Enterprise) at the University of Kigali, Rwanda, and an Adjunct Professor at Torrens University Australia. A globally recognised scholar and consultant with over 25 years of experience across academia, finance, and entrepreneurship, she is ranked among the world’s Top 2% of scientists (Stanford–Elsevier) and is a recipient of the Emerald Literati Award. Her research spans digital transformation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, emerging technologies, and inclusive development. She is a consultant to Afreximbank on the African Sub-Sovereign Governments Network (AfSNET) initiative and has served as a National Consultant to the International Labour Organization (ILO) and as a consultant to the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture Business Incubation Platform (IITA-BIP). She currently serves on leading corporate and academic boards.
Her work focuses on applying innovation, marketing, and strategic frameworks to advance economic inclusion, gender equity, and sustainable development across Africa and emerging markets.
