Keitumetse Matlhwane is a seasoned financial services professional and Chartered Accountant with over 14 years’ experience across payments, corporate banking, wealth management, and business performance.
She first joined Swift as a Market Expert for Sub Saharan Africa, where she provided regional market intelligence, supported business development, engaged customers and industry stakeholders, contributed to competitive and regulatory insights.
She currently forms part of Swift’s Industry Engagement Team, where she contributes to strengthening public private sector dialogue and advancing industry collaboration to support interoperable, inclusive, resilient, and trusted payments systems. Her work brings together experts, policy makers and regulators from across the ecosystem to strengthen strategic insight and deepen understanding of how payments, payments infrastructure, policy, and regulation continue to evolve.
Before joining Swift, she held roles at Absa and Standard Bank, specialising in payments, client relationship management, and business performance.
