Funding the Future - Investing in Women-Led Innovation and Women-Centric Solutions

Despite Africa's fintech boom, only 3-5% of venture capital goes to women-led startups, and even fewer investors prioritize women-centric solutions like maternal health tech, femtech, or women-focused financial products. This Women's History Month, we confront a dual challenge: the gender funding gap and the innovation gap in serving half the population. This panel brings together investors and women founders to tackle both. Walk away with a practical playbook: investors gain frameworks for backing women-led ventures and women-centric solutions, and founders learn funding navigation strategies, and policymakers in the room understand interventions that unlock capital and drive inclusive innovation.
