Robert Karanja

Robert is an experienced and passionate Digital Public Infrastructure expert. He currently advises several international organisations and Governments across Africa on DPI.

Robert set up Co-Develop's Africa practice including setting up the investment portfolio and the team that now works out of Tanzania, Egypt and Ghana. He has led critical investments including the DPI Journalism Fellowships in both East and West Africa, Rwanda's DPI use cases, Mojaloop's Go To Market, Tanzania's Jamii Stack, SADC's cross border initiative for migrant workers and Open CRVS engagement among others.

Robert currently serves on the Mojaloop board and is also a member of South Africa's international advisory group on DPI.

He is widely recognised as one of Africa's leading voices on DPI with over 20 years of experience.
