Ayokunle Yusuf

Yusuf Ayokunle is a banking executive with over 15 years of experience in financial services across Nigeria, Ghana, and Rwanda. He currently serves as Managing Director of GTBank Rwanda Plc, where he oversees the bank’s strategic direction, operational performance, and regulatory engagement.

He previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at GTBank Ghana Ltd and GTBank Rwanda Plc, with oversight of operations, technology, risk management, finance, and digital banking. Earlier in his career at GTBank Nigeria Ltd, he worked in corporate strategy, financial planning, and regulatory reporting.

Yusuf is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Fellow Chartered Stockbroker (FCS). He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and a degree in Accounting from Babcock University. His experience spans strategy execution, financial management, and digital transformation initiatives within the banking sector.
