24 February 2025, Kigali, Rwanda - Tomorrow University, the global university for impactful careers, proudly announces the launch of its €1,000,000 African Changemaker Scholarship Fund at the Inclusive FinTech Forum in Kigali, Rwanda. This initiative will empower over 100 outstanding students from 12 African countries with scholarships of up to €10,000 each, enabling access to transformative education in sustainability, entrepreneurship, and technology.
The African Changemaker Scholarship Fund underscores Tomorrow University's commitment to nurturing visionary leaders equipped to tackle global challenges. The university's innovative learning model is built upon three core pillars:
- Personalized, Purpose-Driven Learning Supported by AI: Students customize their learning journeys aligned with personal missions, guided by AI to unlock their full potential.
- 21st-Century Skills Mastery Through Real-World Challenges: Hands-on challenges replace lectures, empowering students to solve real problems while mastering future-proof skills.

This initiative addresses the significant digital skills gap in Africa. In 2022, African countries scored between 1.8 and 5 on the Digital Skills Gap Index, below the global average of 6. Moreover, 87% of African business leaders identify digital literacy as a priority area for further investment. By providing access to education in key fields, the scholarship aims to bridge this gap and foster economic inclusion and sustainable development.
